Bruce co-founded IQ PARTNERS in 2001 and currently operates as Managing Partner. Bruce began his career at Procter & Gamble and progressed into senior management roles in marketing and communications before finding his true calling in executive search. His personal background includes hands-on management experience in sales, marketing and marketing services. He has built management teams for a wide variety of mar/com, media and technology companies, and has also participated in several M&A transactions for service-based companies. Bruce is an advocate of ‘smart people’ and humble intelligence. He’s a passionate entrepreneur and derives great satisfaction helping growth companies achieve success. He is an active board member and advisor to several industry associations and companies.
Sarah Brekelmans
VP Client Services & Startup/Scaleup Practice Lead
As a VP, Client Services, Sarah leads IQ PARTNERS’ Startup and Scaleup Recruitment Practice and is a member of the Marketing Recruitment team. Sarah specializes in working with high growth tech companies on roles across the entire product lifecycle, from demand generation and growth marketing to product management and UX design. Before IQ PARTNERS, Sarah kickstarted her recruitment career at a global creative recruitment agency where she led the recruitment division for full-time marketing and UX design hires. Sarah is one of the most tenured recruiters in the marketing tech and UX space in the GTA -- she started when UX was only about Axure, and when Marketo was a platform known to only a few marketers. Prior to recruitment, Sarah spent nearly 4 years in digital marketing and communications in the healthcare/pharmaceutical space. There she helped launch award winning public relations campaigns for several high-profile organizations. Clients continuously turn to Sarah for her deep knowledge of the talent market and her transparent counsel. She is known by her clients for being a passionate partner who is committed to driving a thorough and successful recruitment process. When she’s not recruiting, Sarah pursues her passion project; championing women in the tech space via her blog, Her Take on Tech.
